Customer Service Representative/Accounting Assistant
Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative/Accounting Assistant will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints as well as perform routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for the accounting department.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on company products and services.
- Answers the phone; assists walk-in customers as needed.
- Schedules service appointments/oil deliveries.
- Posts oil; runs credit cards.
- Posts oil tickets/deposits.
- Calls customers to schedule tune-ups seasonally.
- Monthly ATBs/notes.
- Processes ACH Payments.
- Checks in drivers daily as needed.
- Mails out monthly statements.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the Customer Service Manager or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Conducts routine data entry for accounting department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, especially during our busy season.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient in computer skills especially Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Bookkeeping/Accounting experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
